Birds of prey

Birds of Prey  are used in hunting for fur-bearing animals and poultry. They are divided on noble and ignoble. Between the noble vary: high-flying birds and low flying birds. High-flying birds are  falcon and merlin. Low-flying birds are hawks. As a result hawks may even catch a prey on the ground and in the bushes. Falcons and merlin also require full space and open area. Eagles, hawks, honey buzzard and other birds of prey are considered as ignoble.

Hunting with birds of prey is known since ancient times. With the development of hunting firearms, traditional hunting with birds of prey has lost its popularity.

However, those hunters who maintain a long tradition of  “falcon” hunting, know firsthand how spellbinding this type of hunting is.5

Hunting with well-trained birds of prey will give you a lot of pleasure. You be able to spend your time with interest and also will extract a large amount of game animals. An experienced hunter with a golden eagle in a season extracts about 50-60 foxes, with a goshawk – about a dozen pheasants per day, and with a sparrow hawk about fifty or more quails. Just as in the use of hunting dogs on the territory of Belarus by foreign hunters they may use bird of prey. They need to have all necessary documents – registration, issued in the State of their habitual residence, veterinary certificate issued by the State Veterinary Service.

Methods of fishing

The main fishing methods are:

  • Float fishing
  • Spin fishing
  • Bottom fishing

Float fishing

This method is used by a large number of people. It can be used to catch many species of fish and the minimum number of fishing gear.

Spin fishing

This kind of fishing is usually used for catching predatory fish, since it uses a lure that mimics the behavior of a small fish. The main difference between float and spin fishing – is the presence of the coil and fishing line with heavy loads, which allows the fisherman to throw bait at a long distance. For this type of fishing you need such accessories as: fishing rod, reel, fishing line with a lead lure and sinker.

Bottom fishing

This is a great way to catch a big fish! Bait can be thrown both manually and with the help of special rods (up to six meters in length). Fishing gear required for bottom fishing: fishing rods, reels, hooks, fishing line, heavy sinkers and feeding trough.

You can contact our managers for additional information. Taking into account all your wishes, we will find for you the perfect place for fishing, where you can catch a lot of fish and perfectly relax.

Fishing rules

Citizens who carry out paid recreational fishing, spearfishing and extraction of aquatic invertebrates are required to know and comply strictly with the existing Recreational Fishing Rules of Belarus, as well as with the present regime and other regulations governing recreational fishing.

Voucher for fishing

At the end of the fishing you have to indicate in your voucher the number of fish caught by species. Registration of caught fish in the voucher  is the basis for the export of fish from the pond. Not later than 10 days after the end of the fishing you have to return your voucher at the place of purchase.

The permit is valid only for the period specified therein, in the presence of a document confirming the identity.

Reasons for refusal:

  • Quota sampling on a specific pond
  • The availability of reliable evidence that the applicant had violated the rules of recreational fishing in Belarus or the rules of commercial fishing in the Republic of Belarus within one year from the date of application for the permit;
  • If you have not returned previously purchased voucher.
  • Fisherman are responsible in accordance with legislation for:
  • Violations of the Rules of recreational fishery of the Republic of Belarus;
  • Handover of voucher to another person;
  • Failure to register the results of fishing;
  • An indication of false information on the results of fishing.

By Issuing permits to allow fishing, National parks of Belarus protect the fish resources of the country.
